The Role of Sex Therapy

As a sex-positive clinician, I am passionate about creating spaces where individuals can explore and embrace their sexuality without judgment. Sex therapy is a powerful tool that facilitates open and honest conversations about intimacy, helping individuals, and couples navigate the complexities of their sexual and relational experiences’ figured it would be a good idea to explore the significance of sex therapy, especially for those engaged in polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, kink, and other nontraditional relationships.

Unlike traditional therapy, sex therapy explicitly emphasizes the exploration and enhancement of sexual well-being.
